Feature description
This feature provides software enhancements to the XFEM, XFALC,
XFCOT, XDID, and XTD cards. The new functionalities are as follows:
• XFEM – An E&M signaling type is introduced for EAM or EM4/WR4
configurations. The BPO signaling type can be selected as an answer to
the EMTY prompt. BPO is sometimes referred to as Type V signaling.
• XFALC – Some previously hard-coded timers can now be configured on
a per-system basis, including off-hook validation, minimum time for dial
pulse, interdigit timer, maximum time for dial pulse, and the existing
post-flash timer.
