EDGING ALONG CURB (If so equipped)
To edge along a curb on units equipped to do so,
lower the right rear wheel by moving the curb wheel
control lever toward the rear of the unit, pivoting the
wheel to the desired depth and releasing the lever.
Refer to Figure 9.
When edging the grass along a curb, the unit will
ride on the two rear wheels and the support roller
behind the blade. See Figure 14. The wheel at the
front of the unit is not used.
SECTION 7: ADJUSTMENTS
WARNING: Do not at any time make
any adjustment to edger without first
stopping the engine and disconnecting
spark plug wire.
BLADE DEPTH CONTROL ADJUSTMENT
Refer to Checking the Blade Depth Control in the
Set-Up Instructions section for any adjustments.
CARBURETOR ADJUSTMENTS
Minor carburetor adjustments may be required to
compensate for differences in fuel, temperature,
altitude and load. To adjust carburetor, refer to the
separate engine manual packed with your mower.
NOTE: A dirty air cleaner will cause an engine to
run rough. Be certain air cleaner is clean and
attached to the carburetor before adjusting
carburetor.
_ WARNING: If any adjustments are
made to the engine while the engine is
running (e.g. carburetor), keep clear of all
moving parts. Be careful of heated
surfaces and muffler.

disconnect spark plug wire before cleaning,
lubricating or doing any kind of work on
edger.
