features. These are described below and illustrated

new equipment to its fullest potential.

Shift Lever
The shiftleveris locatedon the right
sideof the handlepanel.Placethe
shift leverintoanyof eight positions
to controlthe directionof traveland
groundspeed.
Forward
Therearesixforward(F) speeds.Posi-
tionone (1)is the slowestand position
six(6) is the fastest.
Reverse
Therearetworeverse(R) speeds.
One(1)is the slowerandtwo(2)is the
faster.

Choke Control
Iii
Thechokecontrolis foundonthe rearof the engineand
isactivatedby rotatingthe knobclockwise.Activatingthe
chokecontrolclosesthe chokeplateon thecarburetor
andaids instartingthe engine.
Throttle Control
Thethrottlecontrolis locatedon the
engine.Itregulatesthe speedof the
engineandwill shutoffthe enginewhen
pusheddowncompletely.
Primer
Depressingthe primerforcesfuel directly
intothe engine'scarburetortoaidin
cold-weatherstarting.
Oil Fill
Engineoil levelcan becheckedandoil
addedthroughthe oil fill.
