This unit is shipped
without gasoline or oil
in the engine. Fill up
gasoline and oil as
instructed in the engine
operation section
BEFORE operating
your mower.

Removethe retaineras follows:
a. Push chutedeflectoruptowardsengine.Holding
deflectorin thisposition,removethe retainerand
discard.SeeStep 1.
b. Lowerthe chutedeflectorcarefullykeepingyour
fingersout of the way.

must be removed and discarded
before operating the mower.

Performthe followingsequencefor handlesetup:
a. Liftthe upperhandleupfromfoldedpositionAand
pullit toextendedpositionBfollowingthe arrowin
Step2. The handleshouldclickinto thisposition.
b. Makesurethe carriageboltis seatedproperly
in thehandle.Tightenwing nutssecuringupper
handleto the lowerhandle
3. If satisfiedwith heightof handle,tightenwingnuts
at the endsof the lowerhandleshownin Step3. For
convenienceof operating,youmayadjustthe handle
heightby removingthewing nutsshownin Step3 and
removingthe lowerhandle.
a. Positioneach handlebracketstudintothe top hole
in thelowerhandle.SeeStep3 inset.
b. Tightenthewing nuts.
4. Insertpostoncable tiesinto holesprovidedon the
lowerhandle.Pullcabletie tightandtrimexcess.See
