MAINTENANCESCHEDULE
Beforeperforming any type of maintenance/service,disengageallcontrols
andstop theengine.Wait untilallmovingparts havecometo acomplete
stop.Disconnectsparkplugwire andgrounditagainsttheengineto
preventunintendedstarting. Alwayswearsafetyglassesduring operation
orwhile performinganyadjustmentsor repairs.

DONOTusenon-detergent oil or2-strokeengineoil. It couldshorten the
engine'sservicelife.
Changing EngineOil
Shutoff the engineandremovethe ignition keybeforeperformingany
maintenance.Topreventaccidentalstart-up,disconnectthe sparkplugboot.
Periodicinspectionandadjustmentof theengineisessentialif highlevel
performanceistobemaintained.Regularmaintenancewill alsoensurea long
servicelife.Therequiredserviceintervalsandthetypeof maintenancetobe
performedaredescribedin thetableabove.Followthehourlyorcalendarintervals,
whicheveroccurfirst.Morefrequentserviceisrequiredwhenoperatinginadverse
conditions.
Checkoillevelbeforeeachuseandevery5 operatinghourswhentheengineis
warm.Referto CheckingandAddingOilintheAssemblySection.
Changetheoilafterthefirst 5operatinghoursandevery50operatinghours
thereafter.Engineshouldstill bewarmbutNOThotfromrecentuse.
1. Drainfuelfromthetankbyrunningtheengineuntil thefueltankisempty.
