The deck is properly balanced when both blade tip
measurements taken earlier are equal.
Retighten the hex cap screw on the left deck
hanger bracket when proper adjustment is
achieved.

SeatAdjustment
WARNING: Before operating this machine,
make sure the seat is engaged in the seat
stop, stand behind the machine and pull back
on seat until fully engaged into stop.
To adjust the position of the seat, move the seat
adjustment lever (located under the seat) to the left and
slide the seat forward or rearward. See Figure 14. Make
sure seat is locked into one of the six adjustment
>ositionsbefore operating the tractor.

If the tractor drifts to either the right or the left with the
control handles positioned directly opposite each other
while traveling, the control cable on the tractor's left
transmission can be adjusted to help straighten the
tractor's path of travel. To do so, proceed as follows:
NOTE: Check the tractor's tire pressure as instructed
on page 26 before adjusting the control cables.
Improper tire pressure will result in the tractor failing to
track straight.
Locate the adjustment yoke on the left, rear area of
the lawn tractor. See Figure 15.
