andallthe hardwarefromthe packfromto makesureeverything

INSTALLING THE STEERING WHEEL ASSEMBLY
If the steeringwheelassemblyfor yourtractordidnot comealready
installed,followthe stepsbelow:
1. Slidethe pedestalcap ontothe steeringshaftso thatwhenthe
steeringshaftis installedonthe tractor,the pedestalcap willbe
uprightas shownin 1.Slidethe pedestalcap ontothe steering
shaft so thatwhen the steeringshaftis installedon the tractor,the
pedestalcap will beuprightas shownin Figure1..
2. Removethesocketheadscrewandlocknut fromthe steering
shaft onthe tractorand retainfor latersteps.
3. Withthe steeringwheelassemblyuprightand positionedoverthe
lowersteeringshaftonthe tractor,alignthe steeringwheelso that
withthe tractorwheelsstraight,thelargeopeningonthe steering
wheelis facingforward.
4. Lowerthesteeringwheelassemblyontothe lowersteeringshaft
and securewiththe socketheadscrewand locknut previously
removed.SeeFigure2.

NOTE: Besureto alignthe socketheadscrewsothatthe head
of the screwfits intothe largerholeprovidedon the uppersteer-
ing shaftoncetightened.Oncesocketheadscrewis in place,feel
free to turnthe steeringshaftfor easieraccessto the hardware.
Tightenthe socketheadscrewand locknutusingprovidedhex
keyanda 7/16"wrenchor ratchet.
Slidethe Pedestalcap downontothe tractor(1)andclip into
place.Securethe pedestalwiththe hex screw(2)fromthe
hardwarepack.See6. Slidethe Pedestalcapdownonto the
tractor(1)andclip intoplace.Securethe pedestalwiththe hex
screw(2) fromthe hardwarepack.SeeFigure3..
