Follow only those instructions which pertain to your unit. ToRemoveUnitFromCarton • • • • Remove staples, break glue on top flaps, or cut tape at carton end and peel along top flap to open carton. Remove loose parts, if included with unit. Cut along corners and lay carton down flat.
• Installthehexboltsandflangenutsfromgroup4 of thehardware pack.Usingtwo1/2"wrenches, tightensecurely.SeeFigure2. Route the cable under the lower handle. On the opposite end of the cable housing is a snap fitting. The shaft inside the snap fitting fits in the second hole on the upper handle. Press the snap fitting in place as shown in Figure 4. Make sure that the blade control handle is on top of the upper handle.

SECTION8: OFF-SEASON STORAGE The following steps should be taken to prepare lawn mower for storage. • Store mower in a dry, clean area. Do not store next to corrosive materials, such as fertilizer. • Clean and lubricate mower thoroughly as described in the lubrication instructions. NOTE: • Refer to engine manual for correct engine storage instructions. • Coat mower's cutting blade with chassis grease to prevent rusting.
