12. Attach one end of the long extension spring (found inthe
hardware pack) to the idler pulley bracket and the other
end to the tractor’s frame rail. See Figure 3-13 and Figure
3-14.

9. Place the undercarriage assembly beneath the tractor and
lift it up against the frame of the tractor. See Figure 3-11.
10. Insert the weld pins found on the top of the undercarriage
assembly into the aligning holes found along the tractor’s
frame. Secure the undercarriage assembly to the frame
with the four hairpin clips removed earlier. See Figure 3-12.

11. Route the upper drive belt around the electric PTO clutch
(or engine pulley on manual PTO models).

Note: If your tractor had a belt keeper rod around the engine
pulley that you removed while taking the tractor’s deck off,
reinstall it at this time.
