BASIC OPERATION
SWITCHING ON/OFF THE UNIT
• Press
/ MUTE button to turn on the unit. When the unit is on, press and hold
/ MUTE button to turn the unit off.
FACEPLATE RELEASE
• Press
button to fold down the removable faceplate.
SOUND ADJUSTMENT
• Shortly press SEL button to enter AUDIO SETTING mode, use SEL button to
select the desired adjustment mode. The adjustment mode will change in the
following order:
VOL > BAS > TRB > BAL > FAD
(Volume) (Bas) (Treble) (Balance) (Fader)
• Shortly press
/ buttons to adjust the sound quality up or down step by
step, press and hold
/ buttons will change the sound quality continuously.
• For SUBW, use the volume knob to select ON or OFF. The subwoofer output
cable is on the back of the unit.
SYSTEM SETTING
Press and hold SEL button on the front panel to enter SYSTEM SETTING mode. Then
shortly press SEL button to select the item you want to change and use
/
button sto change the corresponding setting.
• BEEP ON/OFF: Use
/ volume up/down buttons to set Beep sound on
or off.
• P-VOL: Use Volume Up/Down buttons to select the volume level when the unit
turns on.
• AREA EUR/USA/ASE/S-A/JPN/RUS: Use Volume Up/Down buttons to set EUR or
USA area frequency spacing
• HOUR 24H/12H: Use Volume Up/Down buttons to set 24Hours or 12Hours
format.
• PCLK ON/OFF: Use Volume Up/Down buttons to set clock on or off when power
off, when set PCLK ON, clock will appear with backlight on when power off.
MUTE
• Shortly press
/ MUTE button will mute the sound instantly, press it again will
resume the sound.
LOUDNESS
• Press
/BAND button for several seconds to switch loudness function on and
“LOUD” will appear on the LCD.
• Press it for several seconds again to release this function, and “LOUD” will
disappear.
DISPLAY INFORMATION
• Press DISP button to operate as the conversion of each display mode.
EQUALIZATION
• Press EQ/TA button shortly to turn on equalization function and to select desired
audio mode. There are several kinds of mode as below:
> FLAT > CLASSICS > POP M > ROCK M > DSP OFF >
RESET FUNCTION
Reset button must be activated with either a ballpoint pen or thin metal object.
The Reset button is to be activated for the following reasons:
• Initial installation of the unit when all wiring is completed.
• All the function buttons do not operate.
• Error symbol on the display.
Note: If pressing the Reset button has no effect, please use a cotton swab soaked in
isopropyl alcohol to clean the socket on the front panel.
