LAN1/LAN2 LEDs
The Ethernet ports (located beside the
COM port) have two LEDs. On each
Gb LAN port, one LED indicates activity
when blinking while the other LED may
be green, amber or off to indicate the
speed of the connection. See the table
on the right for the functions associated
with the connection speed LED.

BMC Heartbeat LED
LE2 ia a BMC Heartbeat LED. When
LE2 is blinking, the BMC (Baseboard
Management Controller) is functioning
normally. See the table at right for more
information.

Green: Blinking BMC: Normal.
VGA Enable/Disable
JPG1 allows you to enable or disable the
VGA port. The default position is on pins
1 and 2 to enable VGA. See the table on
the right for jumper settings.

JPEN1 allows you to confi gure power
settings for hot-swap support on the
Hot-Swap version of Chassis 827. To
enable hot-swap support for this model
of chassis, connect a cable to Pins 2~3
of JPEN1. To use the regular power
setting for other chassis, close Pins 1~2
on JPEN1 with a cap. See the table on
the right for jumper settings.
