Configuring SonicWALL Internet Security
Appliances
Firewall Analyzer supports most of the versions of SonicWALL Firewall devices.
Configuring SonicWALL To Direct Log Streams
1. Log in to the SonicWALL appliance
2. Click Log on the left side of the browser window
3. Select the Log Settings tab
4. Type the IP address of the Firewall Analyzer server in the Syslog Server text box
5. Click Update at the bottom of the browser window
Configuring SonicWALL Logging Level
1. Log in to the SonicWALL appliance
2. Click Log on the left side of the browser window
3. Select the View tab
4. Select the Logging Level as Informational from the combo box
5. Click Update at the bottom of the browser window

Whenever you create an access rule in the SonicWALL Firewall, ensure that 'Enable
Logging' check box is selected for the particular rule. For more information refer the

• Restart the SonicWALL appliance for the changes to take effect.
To get Live reports using Syslog
