BIOS Setup
Onboard 1394 Controller
The item enables or disables the onboard IEEE1394 controller. Setting options:
[Enabled], [Disabled].
USB Device Legacy Support
Set to [Enabled] if you need to use any USB 1.1/2.0 device in the operating system
that does not support or have any USB 1.1/2.0 driver installed, such as DOS and
SCO Unix. Set to [Disabled] only if you want to use any USB device other than the
USB mouse. Setting options: [Disabled], [Enabled].
Onboard AC97 Controller
This item is used to enable or disable the onboard Audio controller. Selecting
[Enabled] allows the mainboard to enable the onboard Audio controller. Disable the
function if you want to use other controller cards to connect an audio device.
Setting options: [Disabled], [Enabled].
IDE Devices Configuration
Press <Enter> to enter the sub-menu and the following screen appears:
OnChip SATA
The integrated peripheral controller contains a SATA interface with support for
two SATA channels. Select [Enabled] to activate the SATA interface.
SATA Mode
This feature allows users to enable or disable the RAID function for each SATA
hard disk drive. The settings are: [RAID], [IDE].
PCI IDE BusMaster
Set this option to [Enabled] to specify that the IDE controller on the PCI local bus
has bus mastering capability. Settings options: [Disabled], [Enabled].
OnChip IDE Channel 0/1
The integrated peripheral controller contains an IDE interface with support for two
IDE channels. Choose [Enabled] to activate each channel separately. Settings:
[Enabled], [Disabled].
IDE Prefetch Mode
The onboard IDE drive interfaces support IDE prefetching, for faster drive accesses.
When you install a primary and/or secondary add-in IDE interface, set this option
to [Disabled] if the interface does not support prefetching. The settings are:
[Enabled], [Disabled].
