Appendix D: Watch-dog Wiring Description
Watch dog is a hardware device to monitor the system status. If the system fails to response, Watch dog
will send a rest signal to the motherboard to reboot the system. To enable Watch dog function, please
select available durations 10,9,8…..seconds.
Hardware Request list:
1. One pair of conducting wire (2-pin to 2-pin). (Cable A)
2. The RESET-SW cable. (Original in PC case). (Cable B)
Installation Step:
A. Please Attach the RESET-SW cable (cable B) to the video capture card JP1 PIN1,2(+,-)
B. Attach the pair of conducting wire (cable A) from video capture card JP1 PIN3,4(+,-) to the RESET
JUMPER(+,-) on Motherboard.
