Chapter 1 Installing Hardware
Please follow the steps to install the hardware.
1.1 Hardware Recommendations
Before you begin, please verify that your computer hardware specifications meet your
AVerMedia digital surveillance system requirements.
CPU Pentium

4 2.8 GHz or higher
Intel 865 Chipset; AC97 audio chipset; Realtek or Intel 10/100
network chipset

OS Linux RedHat, included with the AverMedia DX5000 DOM
