Magnetic Signal Stabilizer

Important: Read these instructions completely before attempting any installation.

The Magnetic Signal Stabilizer converts the signal from a magnetic pickup to a square wave trigger

signal for the MSD Ignition Control.

Parts Included:

1-Magnetic Signal Stabilizer, PN 8509

Mount the PN 8509 away from direct engine heat sources. Use a 1/4" sheet metal screw to mount

the unit.

1. Connect the RED wire to a switched 12 volts and the BLACK wire to ground.

2. Connect the YELLOW wire to the WHITE wire of the MSD Ignition Control.

3. Install the supplied terminals and connector to the existing distributor wires. Figure 2 shows the polarity of several magnetic pickup distributor wires.
