Cap-A-Dapt for
MSD Small Diameter Distributors
PN 8441
1- Wire Retainer
1 - Rotor, PN 8423
2 - Rotor Screws and Belleville Washers
2 - 1.5" Self Tapping Screws
This Cap-A-Dapt will fit MSD Small Diameter
Pro-Billet Distributors.
1. Remove the existing distributor cap and rotor.
Note which spark plug wire connects to which
terminal to ensure correct routing when reas-
sembling.
2. Fit the Adapter to the distributor base (Figure 1).
Use the supplied Socket Head Cap screws to
hold the retainer.
3. Install the new rotor. Position the belleville
washers with the dome facing up.
4. Install the new distributor cap followed by the
spark plug wires. A wire retainer is supplied to
secure the wires. Align the mounting bosses
and use the supplied 1.5" self tapping Phillips
screws to hold the retainer in place.
