Playing Movie Files
To play movie les stored on an optical disc, USB drive, select “Movie” from
the Home Menu. A le browser will appear to assist you in navigating the
les and folders. The rst step is to select the “Data Disc”, USB device that
contains the movie les. The player will take a moment to read the media
and list the folders and movie les. In the movie browser, you can perform
the following operations:
• Press the UP/DOWN ARROW or PAGE UP/DOWN buttons to move
the cursor and select movie les.
• Press the OPTION button to access features like video information.
• Press the TOP MENU button to move the cursor to the category menu in
the top of the screen. This menu functions the same as the one discussed
in Playing Music Files
• When a movie le is highlighted by the cursor, press the ENTER or PLAY
button to start playback.
Once a movie le starts playing, the normal playback control functions are
available. To stop the movie and return to the le browser, press STOP twice.
You can also press the HOME button at any time to get back to the Home
Menu. Press the OPTION button to access features such as Video Information,
Subtitle Shift, Picture Adjustment and Picture Zooming.
Viewing Photo Files
To view digital photo les stored on an optical disc or USB drive, select Photo
from the Home Menu. A le browser will appear to assist you in navigate
the les and folders.
The rst step is to select the Data Disc or USB device that contains the photo
les. The player will take a moment to read the media and list the folders and photo les. In the photo browser, you can perform the
following operations:
• Press the UP/DOWN ARROW or PAGE UP/DOWN buttons to move the cursor and select photo les.
• Press the TOP MENU button to move the cursor to the category menu in the top of the screen.
• When a photo le is highlighted by the cursor, press the ENTER or PLAY button to start playback in a full screen slide show fashion.
The following operations are available during the photo slide show:
• Display the help screen: INFO
• Normal playback controls: PLAY, STOP, PAUSE, and PREV/NEXT
• Adjust slideshow speed: REV and FWD
• Zoom: ZOOM. Once zoomed in, the ARROW buttons can be used to pan
around the photo. Reect (ips the photo horizontally to make it upside-
down): UP ARROW
• Mirror (ips the photo vertically to make it a mirror image): DOWN
ARROW
• Rotate left (counterclockwise): LEFT ARROW
• Rotate right (clockwise):RIGHT ARROW
• Repeat: REPEAT
• Switch between view modes: Red color button
• Show EXIF information: GREEN color button
• Play in random sequence: BLUE color button
• Change slideshow transition effect: YELLOW color button.
• Press the OPTION button to access to features like Image Zooming and
Image Rotation.
