internal ash memory that can be used for persistent storage. There are also two USB ports on the player that can accept a USB
drive to be used as the persistent storage. The choices are:
• Internal Flash – Use the internal ash memory for persistent storage.
• USB Drive – Use a USB drive for persistent storage. To meet the specication for BD-Live, a USB ash drive of 1GB or larger
is required. A USB hard drive is not recommended.
NOTE: The new storage device choice becomes effective only after the player is restarted. Please make sure that you turn off the player
and then turn it back on after changing the “Storage Device” option.
• Space Used – Displays the used space of the persistent storage. If too much space is used and the available space becomes too
low, some Blu-ray Discs may not play properly.
• Erase Persistent Storage – Erases the BD-Video data from the persistent storage or initializes a USB drive so it can be used for
persistent storage.
13. Netix: To de-activate your Netix account. The available options are:
• Netix ESN – To display the Netix ESN (Electronic Serial Number) for your player.
• De-activate Netix – To de-activate the access to your Netix account from your player. Once de-activated, you have to go to
the Home menu, enter the Netix option and go through the activation procedure again to be able to access Netix from your
player.
14. VUDU: Allows you to de-activate your VUDU HD Movies account.
15. Reset Factory Defaults: To reset all settings to the factory default value. This operation also set BD-Live Network Access to be Off
and performs Erase Persistent Storage. However, the remote control code will not be reset. This operation is only available when
the playback is completely stopped or when there is no disc loaded.
NOTE: If all goes wrong do a reset to factory settings, Then go to SETUP: and make the following changes:
1. PLAYBACK SETUP: SACD PRIORITY and select STEREO.
2. AUDIO FORMAT SETUP: HDMI AUDIO: OFF
3. AUDIO PROCESSING: SPEAKER CONFIGURATION: and set CENTER to OFF.
