Should the device become wet allow it to dry away from direct heat at room temperature (typically 20ºC). A small amount of WD40 water dispersant may be applied to the area between the cam and the side plates. Following application of the WD 40 allow any excess dispersant to drain away and wipe any surplus from the device using a clean lint free cloth.
User Instructions 1. Unscrew the thimble on the entry gate and slide the thimble away. 2. Offer the Latchways ClimbLatch to the gap in the entry gate. Ensure the slipper is positioned underneath the tube, push the slipper along the tube see Figure 7. 3. Once the Latchways ClimbLatch is fully engaged with the tube pull the device along until the gap has been cleared. Next tighten up the thimble on the entry gate to secure the system. Figure 8. 1.

Anhang 1 MSA Latchways ClimbLatch WARNUNG • Bei Verwendung des Latchways ClimbLatch-Geräts (85191-00/ 85195-00) in einem schrägen oder senkrechten System muss der Pfeil auf dem Geräteetikett (siehe Seite 116 1 ) immer in Richtung des höchsten Punkts des Systems zeigen. 2 Uso previsto y limitaciones del producto El Latchways GTFA está diseñado para retener la caída de un usuario en combinación con un Latchways VLL. El absorbedor de energía del sistema o del dispositivo reduce la carga aplicada al cuerpo a 6 kN (1350 lbf) o menos en caso de caída. Los sistemas de línea de vida pueden estar diseñados con o sin absorción de energía integral. 5 Tipos de sistemas verticales Latchways Los Latchways VLL pueden estar diseñados con o sin absorción de energía integral. Por consiguiente es fundamental que el usuario verifique que el dispositivo correspondiente es compatible con el sistema (tabla 1). Si no hubiera un absorbedor de energía del sistema, únicamente podrán utilizarse dispositivos que incluyan un absorbedor de energía.

3 Attrezzature necessarie Utilizzare sempre un’imbracatura integrale adeguatamente regolata e conforme alle norme nazionali. IT 5 Tipi di sistema Latchways Vertical I dispositivi Latchways VLL possono essere progettati con o senza soluzione di assorbimento integrale dell’energia. Quindi è indispensabile che l’utilizzatore verifichi la compatibilità del singolo dispositivo con il sistema (Tabella 1). Wszyscy użytkownicy Latchways GTFA i Latchways VLL powinni zapoznać się z niniejszą instrukcją i postępować zgodnie z nią. Należy zachować niniejszą instrukcję do wglądu w przyszłości. PL Karabińczyki marki ISC mają nieograniczoną żywotność, wszystkie pozostałe karabińczyki mają maksymalną żywotność 10 lat od daty produkcji, a także podlegają przeprowadzaniu badań okresowych i kontroli przed użyciem. Czyszczenie – w ramach ogólnej konserwacji urządzenia Latchways GTFA mogą wymagać czyszczenia. Do czyszczenia można użyć ciepłej wody i detergentu do gospodarstw domowych. Urządzenie należy dokładnie wypłukać i wysuszyć w sposób naturalny z dala od źródeł ciepła.
Załącznik 1. MSA Latchways ClimbLatch OSTRZEŻENIE • W przypadku korzystania z urządzenia Latchways ClimbLatch (85191-00/ 85195-00) w systemie pochyłym lub pionowym strzałka na etykiecie urządzenia (patrz strona 116 1 ) powinna być skierowana w stronę najwyższego punktu systemu.
