Operation Manual
The IP camera can detect motion. This function does not work by using an infrared receiver, but by digitally “looking”
at the image through the camera. When there are too much changes in the image, the motion alarm will be activated.
The sensitivity is adjustable. For outdoor cameras, please note that leaves moving in the wind and rain are also
detected as “motion”. In case of an alarm, the camera can send an alert to the PC (if the software is activated), send
an email, or start recording on the SD card (if available).
In the "Receiver email" field, you should enter the email address that needs to receive the alerts. In the "Sender email"
field you should enter a hotmail or gmail address. Enter the corresponding name (including @gmail.com or
@hotmail.com) and password for the fields “SMTP user name” and “SMTP Password”. Note that “ “587” has to be
entered for “SMTP port”. If you click on “Send a test e-mail”, a test e-mail will be sent. If the test e-mail does not arrive,
please also check the Junk e-mail!
