! WARNING
All information in this manual is for
reference and guidance purposes,
and does not substitute for required
professional training, conduct,
and strict adherence to applicable
jurisdictional/professional codes and
regulations.
Non-Fulton product information is for
reference purposes only. No Fulton

from the component manufacturer.
4 CAUTION
The minimum return water
temperature to the boiler is 140°F (60°C)
when ring on oil. Failure to maintain
this will void the warranty.
Unburned oil, unlike gas, does not leave
the combustion chamber during purge.
A temperature exceeding 120°F** in
the boiler room may cause premature
failure of electrical components.
Provisions should be made to maintain
an ambient temperature of 120°F** or
less (the panel box interior should not
exceed 125°F**).
**Pumps, PLC or ModSync panels may
require lower ambient temperatures or
additional cooling.
§ Min. Loop Temp: Minimum setpoint temperature at which the boiler can
operate.
§ Max. Loop Temp: Maximum setpoint temperature at which the boiler can
operate.
§ SC-500 Setpoint: Boiler setpoint when SC-500 setpoint mode is selected.
} SET BOILER ON TEMPERATURE
1. From Main Menu screen, select System Con g.
2. Select Sensor Con g and set.
} SET PROPORTIONAL BAND, INTEGRAL AND DERIVATIVE VALUES
The Proportional Band, Integral, and Derivative Values are accessed via the PID
Con guration Screen.
§ Proportional Band: This is the percentage of change in proportion to the
di erence between setpoint (SP) and process output (PV).
§ Integral: The integral is a variable time period used to adjust an output.
§ Derivative: This variable allows the anticipation of whether the PV will
overshoot the SP, and reduces the output as needed.
§ Manual Reset: This value will o set the PID.
¡ Yokogawa UT 32A Basic Programming:
} CHANGE SET POINT
1. SP (set point) display reads current set point in degrees F.
2. Use arrow keys on main screen to change SP to desired value. Press SET/
ENT to enter value.
} SET BOILER ON TEMPERATURE
1. Push and hold SET/ENT button for 3 seconds. Display will read oP.PA.
2. Push SET/ENT button. A1 will be displayed.
3. Enter value of subtractive di erential i.e. SP - A1= Heater On Temperature.
Ex. SP = 200, A1 = 5 Heater will turn on at 195 F. (Note: subtracting a
negative value yields a positive number. Ex. SP = 200, A1 = -5, Heater
will turn on at 205 F.
4. Push and hold SET/ENT button for 3 seconds. Display will return to default.
} SET BOILER OFF TEMPERATURE
1. Push and hold SET/ENT button for 3 seconds. Display will read oP.PA.
2. Use down arrow key to scroll to St.UP.
