C. Next, you must install the Open Window Brackets
on each side of the unit. Use the Type B 1/4” screws
(6.35 mm) for the portion of the bracket that attaches
to the Horizontal Bracket and the Type B 1/2”
screws (12.7 mm) for the portion of the bracket that
attaches to the unit itself. Please refer to Fig. 16.

A. Measure the distance between the
Side Arm Hinge and the closest part of
the window frame in line with the Side
Arm. Please refer to the images to the
right. Add 1/4 in (6.35 mm) to this
measurement and cut the Side Arm
Foam to this length. Please refer to
Fig. 17.
