PROBLEMS POSSIBLE CAUSES SOLUTIONS
Coffee comes
out too quickly.
• Ground coffee is too
coarse.
• Not enough coffee in filter
basket.
• Use a finer grind.
• Use more coffee.
Coffee is
too weak.
• Too much water is used.
• Ground coffee is too
coarse.
• Manually stop the brew
earlier by turning the side
knob to Stop.
• Use a finer grind.
Heating and
Ready Lights
flashing
alternately.
Both Heating
and Ready
Lights are
flashing at the
same time.
Heating and
Ready Lights
are off.
• Knob turned to Brew or
Steam when unit is plugged
in or before ready light is on.
• Reached maximum brew
time of 2 minutes.
• Reached maximum steam/
froth time of 3 minutes.
• The internal heater is
too hot.
• The unit is not plugged in.
• Unit is in "sleep" mode.
• Turn Knob to
Stop, make sure
ready light is on
before turning to
Brew or Steam.
• Unplug the
unit for
10 minutes.
• Plug in unit.
• Press the Power button on
the front of the unit.
Cannot remove
coffee filter
drawer
• Tamp gauge is on” ” .
• Knob not at “Stop” position.
• Water Reservoir is
removed.
• Wait until tamp gauge is on
“O”.
• Turn knob to “Stop”.
• Install water reservoir.
