INSTRUCTION MANUAL
A. DESCRIPTION
Thank you for purchasing the NOSTALGIC TREE. This product features built-in illumination and a timer. This product is not a
toy and is not intended for use by children. Decorative and indoor use only.
B. OPERATION
1. Remove the NOSTALGIC TREE from the packaging.
2. Open the battery compartment cover and insert 3 x C size batteries (not included) into the battery compartment. Align "+"
and "-" as marked inside the battery compartment.
3. Close the battery compartment cover.
4. Move the switch to the "ON" or "TIMER" position to light the mechanism.
a) Move the switch to "TIMER" and the unit will light for 4 hours and then automatically shut off. The unit will restart
20 hours later.
b) Move the switch to "ON" for continuous lights.
c) Move the switch to "OFF" to turn off the lights.
C. TROUBLESHOOTING
PROBLEM

SOLUTION
No light
Batteries not inserted correctly
Make sure to align the "+" and "-" as marked inside the battery
compartment
Timer is on
Unit will restart at the end of the 20-hour cycle. To start
immediately, move the timer switch to "OFF" and then to "ON"
or "TIMER" position
Switch is at "OFF" position
Move the switch to "ON" or "TIMER" position
Batteries exhausted
Change to new batteries
D. CARE INSTRUCTIONS
1. Do not expose this item to moisture or outdoors. This item is for indoor use only.
2. Before using or reusing, inspect product carefully. Discard any products that have cracks in enclosure or exposed wire.
3. When storing the product, carefully remove from the current location to avoid any undue strain or stress on the conductors,
connections and wires.
4. When not in use, store neatly in a cool, dry location protected from sunlight and heat.
5. If necessary, clean product by wiping with a soft, dry cloth. Do not use any corrosive cleanser or chemical solution on this
item.
E. BATTERY INSTRUCTIONS
1. Do not dispose batteries in fire. Batteries may explode or leak.
2. Do not mix old and new batteries.
3. Do not mix alkaline, standard (carbon-zinc), or rechargeable (nickel-cadmium) batteries.
4. Replace batteries of the same brand.
5. Failure to insert batteries in the correct polarity, as indicated in the battery compartment, may shorten the life of the batteries
or cause batteries to leak.
6. Remove fully discharged batteries immediately.
7. Batteries should be recycled or disposed of as per state and local guidelines.
8. Remove all the batteries for storage of the unit to avoid battery leakage.
