6.3 Upgrade
(1) Firmware / Multilanguage OSD Upgrade
• Use USB to upgrade:
Format the USB memory to FAT 32. Get the upgrade fi les from your distributor. Save the upgrade fi les to your USB
memory (do not change the fi le name). Go to “MAIN MENU” → “SYSTEM” → “UPGRADE”, and press the “ENTER”
button. Select “YES”, and press “ENTER” button again to confi rm upgrade. To view fi rmware version refer to the main
menu > SYSTEM> VERSION page 31.
• Use Remote Video Server software on your CD to upgrade fi rmware see Video Server login panel page 43:
At login page enter the user name, password, IP address and port. Then, press “
” button to upgrade fi rmware or
OSD language fi les. The provided fi rmware and OSD fi les should be saved to your PC.
6.4 Audio Backup and Playback
For audio use channel CH1
Audio hardware connections
1. Connect camera audio out to DVR audio in, or if your camera does not have a audio out use an external microphone.
To select live or playback sound, press SLOW and ZOOM buttons or on the front panel at the
same time.
