1) MANUAL RECORD ENABLE
Start / stop the manual recording.
2) EVENT RECORD ENABLE
Start / stop the event recording. When enabled the recording is triggered by motion or external alarm.
3) TIMER RECORD ENABLE
Start / stop the schedule recording.
4) OVERWRITE
Select to overwrite previous recorded data for automatic continuous recording. When the HDD is full under O/W
recording, OVERWRITE will clear 8GB of data to make room for new video data.
5) RECORD IMG SIZE
Select image size: FRAME or CIF. FRAME settings is highly recommended.
Note: When changing the record image size, stop recording.
6) RECORD QUALITY
Select type of video quality: BEST, HIGH, NORMAL & BASIC.
7) MANUAL RECORD IPS
Select the number images per second to use for MANUAL RECORD.
8) EVENT RECORD IPS
Select the number images per second to use for EVENT RECORD (Recording is triggered by an alarm or motion
event).
9) TIMER RECORD IPS
Select the number images per second for TIMER RECORD (Recording is activated by a time schedule).

10) TOTAL IPS SHARE/ NOT AVAILABLE FOR THIS UNIT.
Controls how IPS is shared. IPS share setting is fi xed and will not change for this unit: Share options: FIX or GROUP.
FIX: IPS per channel = RECORD IPS ÷ number of channels
GROUP: (Ideal for Frame mode): IPS per channel = RECORD IPS ÷ 2 ÷ number of channels in a group under
recording.
NOTE: IPS share is “FIX”.
5.3 Timer
Press “MENU” button on the front panel to enter the main menu. Select “TIMER”, and press ”ENTER”. Use TIMER to
schedule your recordings by entering the days of the week and time.
