Recording Defaults
The options you set in Recording Defaults will be automatically applied to each show you set to record. You also have the option
of changing the settings for an individual show or series. In Recording Defaults, you can set:
• Whether a show starts on time, early or late. The default setting is On Time.
• Whether a show stops on time, early, or late. The default setting is On Time.
• How long to keep a recorded show until it is deleted. The default setting is Until Space is Needed, which will automatically
delete shows in order when space is required for new recordings.
• Episode Limit, which determines how many episodes of a show to keep at a time. The default setting is 5.
• Which type of shows to Accept, allowing you to choose whether you will record repeats or first-run shows only. The default
setting is all shows.
