Building a Network Share on Linux Systems
Connecting to the RNAS-1200 SAMBA Server
If you are using the Linux Ubuntu GUI, you will only be able to access the RNAS-1200 SAMBA server after first
installing the smbfs package. You may use the Synaptic software manager, or
#:/apt-get smbfs. After
installing the appropriate software, simply follow these steps:
Step 1: Open the Home Folder window, in the Places menu. Then press Ctrl + L to display the Go To table.
Step 2: Enter
smb://IP address to connect the RNAS-1200.
Step 3: You should now be able to see the shared directory.
