SSL certificate is used to ensure that the website you are accessing is the one you trust, and to encrypt the data
transmitted between you and the website. The SSL certificate contains unique, authenticated information
about the certificate owner. It is issued by a Certificate Authority (CA), such as VeriSign, that verifies the
identity of the certificate owner.
The OnCell 5000 will generate a new SSL certificate whenever a new IP is used. However, the SSL certificate
is issued by the OnCell itself. If you would like to import an SSL certificate issued by a primary CA, you can do
it from the “Ethernet SSL Certificate Import” page.
Certificate/Key Delete
You can delete an SSL certificate on this page. To do so, select the Delete option and then click on the Submit
button.
