Examples of Internet/Intranet Routing Configuration

Configuring Router for Internet Connection

Some routers have the capability to learn routes automatically. To en-

sure that your Internet connection will work properly, you can con-

sider adding the routes for those routers without RIP protocol. Figure

5-1 shows you an example of connecting to the Internet through a

Router.

Your route will be:

You will need to add two routes to NPort Express for the more com-

plex case in which the server is connected to the Internet and Intranet

at the same time.
