Lower wiring costs for industrial or business automation
ioMirror is the easiest and fastest way to connect input signals
to remote outputs over Ethernet and IP networks. It is ideal for
monitoring or for applications that are not mission critical. Using
ioMirror servers, maximum signal transmission distance can be
obtained with no programming and no controller.

Real-world application for ioMirror in tank monitoring panel
This real-world application involves ioMirror servers in the vegetable oil industry, where oil tank levels are monitored constantly. The customer uses
a computer-based SCADA system for general management and control, with an LED panel in the control room for direct monitoring of tank levels.
Using the LED panel originally meant maintaining 200m of copper wire dedicated to 24 V signals, which was a significant challenge. With the ioMirror
Ethernet I/O server, the existing fiber network could be used instead. The level sensor simply connects to an ioMirror server, which is connected to the
network. Sensor signals are automatically forwarded over the network to another ioMirror server, which sends matching 24 VDC digital output signals
directly to the LED. The ioMirror system was so easy to set up that the customer completed the project in just a few days, at very little cost.
