7. In the Basic Setting tab, use the COM Number drop-down list to select a COM number to be
assigned to the NPort 6000’s serial port that is being configured. Select the Auto
Enumerating COM Number for Selected Ports option to automatically assign available
COM numbers in sequence to selected serial ports. Note that ports that are “in use” will be
labeled accordingly.
8. Click the Advanced Setting tab to modify Tx Mode, FIFO, and Flash Flush.
