7. MAINTENANCE
AND
CARE
WARNING: Switch off and remove battery from machine before adjusting or cleaning. For safe and
proper working, always keep the garden product clean.
Note: To ensure long and reliable service, carry out the following maintenance regularly.
1. If the garden product should happen to fail despite the care taken in manufacture and testing, repair should
be carried out by an authorized customer service agent for garden products.
2. Use only manufacturer’s recommended replacement parts and accessories
WARNING: Switch the machine off and remove the battery. Ensure battery is removed before storage.
1. Clean the exterior of the machine thoroughly using a soft brush and cloth. Do not use water, solvents or
polishes. Remove all debris, especially from the ventilation slots of the motor.
2. Always lubricate the cutting blade with protective spray before storage.
3. Store the hedge trimmer in a secure, dry place out of the reach of children. Do not place other objects on top
of the machine.
4. The battery should be stored between 0 ° C and 50 ° C.
8. TROUBLESHOOTING
The following chart lists problem symptoms, possible causes and corrective action, if your garden product does
not operate properly. If these do not identify and correct the problem, contact your service agent.
