- Never handle the blade of the blender foot
attachment when the appliance is plugged
in.
- Only remove the blender foot attachment
when the appliance has been unplugged.
- The blades are very sharp. Take great care
when handling them.
- Always allow your appliance to cool down
for a few minutes between each use.
Using the appliance
. Before first use
- Clean the blender foot attachment, the
beaker and the small jar in soapy water.
Rinse and dry.
. Setting up
- Place the ingredients in a container which is
tall enough to prevent splashes.
- Screw the blender foot attachment onto the
motor unit and then plug in the appliance.
- Tilting the hand-blender gently, plunge the
blender foot attachment to the bottom of the
container and then start it.
- Remove the blender foot attachment from
the preparation once the appliance has been
stopped.
. Practical tips
- The preparation must at least cover the base
of the blender foot attachment in order to
guarantee efficient mixing.
- Remove the cooking container from the
source of heat to mix hot preparations.
- You may move the blender foot attachment
around in the container to optimise mixing.
- For fruit-based preparations, cut and core
the fruit first.
. Recipes:
. Vegetable soup
100 g carrots, 80 g potatoes, 20 g leeks,
360 ml water, salt and pepper.
- Peel, wash and chop the vegetables into
uniform cubes.
- Place them in a saucepan and cook gently
for 45 minutes.
Blending time: 30 seconds maximum.
. Chicken purée
100 g chicken breast, 100 g carrots, 80 g
potatoes, 60 g leeks.
- Cook the chicken with the vegetables cut into
cubes in water for about 25 minutes on a
low heat.
- Place the ingredients with a little of the
cooking stock into the beaker.
- Blend until you get a smooth purée.
Blending time: 30 seconds maximum.
. Pear and yoghurt mousse
1 sweetened natural yoghurt, one well-ripened
pear, 3 tsp. honey.
- Put the sweetened yoghurt, the honey then
the peeled pear, chopped into small cubes,
into the beaker.
Blending time: 30 seconds maximum.
. Fresh fruit purée
1/2 apple (75 g)- 1/2 banana (70 g)- 125 ml
orange juice - 20 g sugar - 1/2 juice of lemon
(approximate weights for peeled fruits).
- Chop all the ingredients.
- Place all the ingredients in the beaker and
blend to obtain a very fine preparation.
Blending time: 30 seconds maximum.
When baby gets bigger:
. Raspberry milk shake
150 ml skimmed milk, 100 g raspberries, 20 g
of sugar.
- Place the milk and the washed raspberries
in the beaker.
Blending time: 30 seconds maximum.
Cleaning
- Always unplug the appliance before cleaning
it.
- Clean the motor unit (A) using only a damp
sponge, and dry carefully.
- The other accessories can be cleaned in the
dishwasher: the blender foot attachment
(blade upwards to prevent it filling with
water), the beaker and the small jar.
- We advise that you clean the blender foot
attachment immediately after you have
finished using it.
Storage
Your hand-blender is equipped with a bracket
on the side for winding and holding the cord.
What to do if your appliance
does not work?
- Check that the appliance is correctly plugged
in.
- Check that the blender foot attachment has
been fitted properly.
