1. Select System Configuration --> System Settings from the left menu.
2. Type in a description of the physical location of the switch within your facility into the Location field.
3. Find the Country field and use the drop down menu to select the correct country from the list.
4. Click Apply to save changes. The interface asks you to confirm any changes you make to the Country
selection.
7.5 Configuring the DNS Server Information
The DNS Server is used by the Network Time Protocol (NTP) feature to synchronize the switch time with time
servers on the world wide web. This enables switches in the network to maintain the same time. The DNS
Server IP address is used by the NTP to resolve addresses of the time servers.
To provide the DNS server information,
1. Select System Configuration --> System Settings from the left menu.
