Learning to Use Your Phone
Tap Method Text Entry Rules
•
Press a number key repeatedly to cycle through its
characters. See the
“Character Chart” on page 35.
•
If you do not press a key for 2 seconds, the character
in the block cursor is accepted, and the cursor moves
to the next position.
•
Press
S
left or right to move the flashing cursor to
the left or right in a message.
•
The first character of every sentence is capitalized.
While the first character is highlighted by the
cursor, press
S
down to force the character to
lowercase.
