Message Editor
The Message Editor is used to compose text messages.
The Message Editor can be started in any one of the following ways:
• By selecting Message Editor from the Messages menu.
• By pressing
. from any screen.
• By replying to a message.
• By editing a message.
The Message Editor always displays the last message you entered or edited.
After typing your message, press ( to access menu options for sending the
message (see “Sending Text Messages” on page 37), storing it so you can send it
at a later time (see “Storing a Text Message” on page 39), or storing it as a personal
(canned) message (see“Creating Personal (Canned) Messages” on page 46).
By pressing the ™ key while composing a message, you can access menu
options for inserting emoticons and personal messages into your message, see
“Inserting Messaging Emoticons” on page 42 and “Inserting Personal Messages” on
page 46.
