D.2.4.2 Components
The information in this section is based on the following Motorola hardware and software versions:
• 1 RFS7000 model switch (version 2.3 or higher)
• 4 AP300 model Access Ports
D.2.4.3 Site Information
The first step for enabling the real-time locationing engine is to provide information about the site where
clients are to be located. Required information includes the name of the site, site dimensions and the
dimensional measurement unit (feet or meters). The following site information must be entered into the RF
Switch for the site:
• Site Name - Acme Inc.
• Site Description - Acme Inc. San Jose CA.
• Dimensional Units - Feet
• Building Dimensions - X (Width) = 80, Y (Length) = 60, Z (Height) = 18
