Serial Ports 1 and 2
The MVME2603/2604 provides both asynchronous (ports 1 and 2) and
synchronous/asynchronous (ports 3 and 4) serial connections. For the
MVME761-compatible versions of the base board, the asynchronous
interface is implemented with a pair of DB9 connectors (
COM1 and COM2)
located on the MVME761 transition module. The pin assignments are
listed in the following table.
