This could occur for example if the PDA is being used in or has been stored in a hot or humid environment.
wait 15 seconds, then slide it back to the right (on position). Do not use any wider instrument than a screwdriver to do – a stylus or pen for example would not fit between the switch and battery recess wall and would exert a downward force that could break the switch. As with the warm reset, all running applications will stop, any unsaved files will be lost, however all file system and registry data is preserved. In addition the time (clock) settings will be lost.
From time to time Motorola may offer a firmware (software) upgrade for MTC100 TETRA PDA. This will be distributed to customers by Motorola or its authorized resellers. To ensure the integrity of your data, you are advised to regularly back up important information. This can be done to a PC (using ActiveSync), or to an SD card, depending on your IT policy. Do not remove the battery door unless it is necessary. Removal of the battery door will cause the PDA to power down.
