12.2.1. Power Calibration Setup
To perform transmit power calibration:
1. Connect one of the two setups illustrated below, using a serial or a termination power
meter.

2. Set radio to Channel mode prior to continuation with the Power Calibration
procedure!
12.2.2. Power Calibration Procedure
Perform the transmit power calibration procedure according to the following steps:

During the calibration procedure the radio transmits in
CW (Continuos Wave) mode via it

RF output.
1. Select the transmit frequency range from the list.
2. Select the power level from the list, starting from the Max level. To adjust power level,
modify the power word. The power word range and recommended power for each level
are listed below. The listed items apply to all frequency ranges.
Note that the power word ranges of the Tuner and the 1 KWatt power level are fixed,
while the ranges for Low, Medium, High and Maximum levels are variable. In other
words, the overall power word range is delimited by 0 (the lower limit of Low) and 127
Watt (the upper limit of Max) but each range may vary.
