CHAPTER 8. RADIO CONFIGURATION SETTINGS
8.1. GENERAL
The View/Change|Configuration menu, displayed in Figure 8-1, provides commands to set channel
parameters, scanned channel groups, radio options, and accessories configuration.

The functions appearing under the Configuration menu are as follows:
• Channels: To configure channels parameters such as frequencies, transmit power level,
receive AGC and the carrier insertion level.
• Groups: To configure the scanned channel groups.
• Options: To configure the various radio options.
• Accessories: To configure the external accessories, connected to the radio.
8.2. CHANNELS CONFIGURATION
The Channels command enables the user to view and edit the channels configuration. To perform these
operations, do one of the following:
• From the View/Change menu choose Configuration|Channels (ALT V, C, C).
1. Click the
Channels button on the toolbar.
or
2. Double click the Channels field, in the Radio Configuration Summary window.
The Channels Configuration dialog is then opened, providing the capability to program the channel
parameters such as: transmit power level, AGC (Automatic Gain Control) and etc.
