2. Getting to know your phone

Overview of your corded base

Get acquainted with the following buttons on your handset and their multi-function tasks.

1ANS ON/OFF

a) In idle mode: Press to turn ON or OFF the Answering Machine.

2 SKIP BACKWARD/OGM

a) In idle mode: Press to play the current announcement.

b) In idle mode: Press and hold to start recording a user outgoing message.

c) In Answering Machine message playing mode: Press to repeat the message from

the beginning. Press twice to play the previous message.

3. PLAY/STOP

a) In idle mode: Press to play the message(s).

b) In Answering Machine message playing mode: Press to stop message playback.

4. SKIP FORWARD/MEMO

a) In idle mode: Press and hold to hear a voice prompt for recording a memo and then

start to record a memo.

b) In Answering Machine message playing mode: Press to skip to play the next

message.
