Getting Started
Status Icons
Status icons appear at the top of the display. Some
appear at all times. Others appear only when your
phone is engaged in certain activities or when you
have activated certain features.

Battery Strength — A fuller battery
indicates a greater charge.

Signal Strength — More bars next
to the antenna indicate a stronger
signal.
6 No Service — Your phone is
without service. You cannot make
or receive any type of call.
A
Phone In Use — Your phone is
active on a phone call.
B
Walkie-Talkie In Use — Your
phone is active on a Walkie-Talkie
call.
S Group In Use— Your phone is
active on a Nextel
®
Group
Walkie-Talkie call.
C
Talkgroup In Use — Your phone is
active on a Talkgroup call.
B Bluetooth In Use — Your phone is
using Bluetooth. If this icon is
blinking, then your phone is in
discoverable mode. If this icon is
static, your phone is active in a
Bluetooth connection.

Active Phone Line — 1 indicates
phone line 1 is ready to make calls;
2 indicates phone line 2 is ready to
make calls.

Call Forward — Your phone is set
to forward calls. See “Call

Ringer Off — Your phone is set to
not ring. See “Setting Your Phone to

Speaker Off — Sets Walkie-Talkie
sound to come through the earpiece
rather than through the speaker.
