Receive All
Sets your phone to receive MOTOtalk
transmissions from any phone that is set to
the same channel, regardless of the code
(1-15). When you receive transmissions
with the code set to
Receive All , the display
changes from
Receive All to the code on
which the transmission was received.
Tip: You can reply to an incoming call within
6 seconds after hearing the short ending
beep by pressing the PTT button.
Note: You cannot initiate a code call when
the code is set to
Receive All . If you push the
PTT button with the code set to
Receive All ,
you will receive an error message.
Pvt Only
Allows you to have a private conversation
with another person using MOTOtalk.
When on a private MOTOtalk call, no other
parties can hear your conversation. In order
to make a private MOTOtalk Call, you must
use the valid 10-digit Personal Telephone
Number (PTN) of the person you are calling.
The person you are calling must be in
MOTOtalk and set to the same channel to
receive your call.
Note: An error message will occur if you
don’t use a valid PTN, or the person that
you are trying to reach is not in MOTOtalk,
or is set to a different channel or out of
range.
