battery charging
New batteries are not fully charged.

Insert the charger
into the connector
on your phone as
shown.

Plug the other end
of the charger into
the appropriate
electrical outlet.

displays

, remove the
charger.
When you charge the battery, the battery
level indicator at the upper right of the screen
shows charging progress. At least one
segment of the indicator must be visible to
ensure full phone functionality while charging.
Tip:
Motorola batteries have circuitry that
protects the battery from damage from
overcharging. Of course, unplugging the
charger from the wall will avoid current drain.
turn it on & off
To turn on your phone,
press and hold
W
for a
few seconds or until the
display turns on. If
prompted, enter your
four-digit unlock code.
To turn off your phone,
press and hold
W
for
two seconds.
