Transferring Calls to Voice Mail
Caller ID
If you subscribe to Caller ID, your i500plus phone automatically
displays the phone number and/or name of the person calling (unless
blocked by the caller), enabling you to decide whether to take the call or
forward it to voice mail (purchase required).
NOTE: Caller ID is not available in all areas.
Displaying the Caller’s Name
A callers name is displayed on your Nextel phone if you previously
programmed the persons name into your phone list (see Storing
Names and Numbers on page 16). Or, the persons phone number will
displayif the callers phone does not have Caller ID block.
Maintaining Your Privacy with Per-Call/Per-Line Blocking
Nextel provides two no-charge methods to prevent those you call from
seeing your number on their own Caller ID displays.
NOTE: Your Nextel phone number cannot be blocked from calls made
to 911, 800, 877, 888, or 900 phone numbers.
Pressounder Endwhile your phone is ringing to transfer
incoming calls directly to voice mail (purchase required).

this feature on a per-call basis
by pressing *82
before the call. To get your
company line automatically
blocked on every call, contact
