The following are descriptions of each of the icons on the display. Companding The companding feature is activated. When in narrow band, this feature improves audio quality. Power Level Low Power (L) or High Power (H) is activated. Monitor The selected channel is being monitored. Phone The Phone mode is selected. Emergency An Emergency Alert is being sent.

HT 1250 Hot Zone Radio SCANNING There are three types of scan available in the HT1250 radios. System Scan can be st arted or stopped by pressing the preprogrammed feature button. System Scan can also be implemented using the Menu. To select System Scan from the menu, do the following: 1. Press the Menu/Select key to enter the Menu mode. 2. Press the Up or Down Arrow until System Scan is shown in the display. 3. Press the Menu/Select key to select the System Scan mode. 4.
HT 1250 Hot Zone Radio Home Channel Revert Home Channel revert lets you automatically return to a preferred channel or talk-group. Home Channel Revert can be activated by pressing the preprogrammed feature button designated for Home Channel Revert.
