Logging and Analyzing Loudness Data
Certain devices like the Kaleido-Solo are capable of monitoring the loudness of audio
streams. The data generated from monitoring may be streamed to an Application Server
whereiControl’s Loudness Logger can record and archive this stream of loudness data to a
dedicated, external drive.
After (or even during) the logging of loudness data, iControl’s Loudness Analyzer can plot a
log file’s loudness, making visible the data in units of LUFS (EBU) or LKFS (A85) over the
time period covered by the file. Loudness Analyzer allows you to zoom into the data plot as
well, effectively taking a subset of the time frame analyzed while increasing data
granularity in the chart.
Revamped License Management Toolset/Workflow
[Ref. #26149] iControl version 4.30 greatly enhances the workflow for requesting and
managing your optional feature licenses for single Application Servers as well as for a
network of Application Servers. With the introduction of the License Management page in
iControl, you can now pick and choose the features you would like with greater ease, and
then monitor the status of their respective licenses.
